Google I/O is an event organized by Google every year in San Francisco, entirely focused on developers. Google I/O events planned in countries outside of USA are known by the name Google I/O Extended which is organized by Google Developer Groups, Student Ambassadors, and local developers. The event includes a variety of activities for developers — from live streaming sessions to local demos, to hackathons, codelabs, speaker sessions and more.

This year GDG Kathmandu, GDG Birgunj and GDG Dang are collaborating to view the event live, discuss cool google technologies and plan for the year ahead at the Api Technology Pvt Ltd, Baneshwor on 18 – 19th of May. The event will kickoff at 7:00 pm where developers will experience the keynote and other main Google I/O sessions, in real-time and share ideas and experiences on technology and hold discussion on current scenario in IT sector in Nepal.
